Every year, Google selects a business from each state to illustrate their impact on businesses at the local level. And guess what! LinenTablecloth was selected as the primary example of the digital giant’s contribution to the Oregon economy. It actually makes a whole lotta sense. As an exclusively digital company, LinenTablecloth relies on Google–a lot. From marketing applications, like Adwords, to the cloud-based file sharing application, Google Drive, we use Google’s wide range of applications daily. Google is a big part of our company and it’s one of the reasons we’ve been able to reach so many great customers!
We use Google’s marketing and document applications, as well as Google’s search engine, every single day–who doesn’t? Our CEO, Ron Berrett, was interviewed for the Oregon Google Economic Report, and succinctly stated, “I don’t think we would exist without the internet.” He also highlighted Google Drive in particular, stating how the cloud-based file sharing application makes communication with employees easier than ever. With two distribution centers, one in Vancouver, BC and the other in Memphis, TN, staff from both centers can work on documents with our Portland-based HQ, in real time.
Established in 2005, our company has rapidly grown from just Ron and his wife, Maggie, to over 60 employees.Google has played a tremendous role in LinenTablecloth’s growth, as we primarily reach customers through paid advertising and organic search channels. But we also love to meet new customers on Facebook and other social media platforms. Using Google Analytics, we’re always on the search to identify new target markets and continue growing. Recently, we even ranked among the Top 500 e-retailers in 2014, according to Top500Guide.com. We’re honored to have been featured in Google’s Economic Impact Report, and we’re looking forward to the new applications and technology that will be available in the future.
