Do It Yourself: FREE printable menu from our nautical shoot

Nautical Theme White Round Tablecloth Navy Blue

So far, this year, we’ve seen an ocean of nautical themed weddings. Perhaps it’s the mix of rustic and chic, with the opportunity to color coordinate in a dramatic, but still vintage vibe that makes this look so hot this Spring. In our inspiration shoot, we featured navy over white, with emphasis on glass, glamour, and a gorgeous floral centerpiece. The navy satin runner elegantly emulated dark water, while the round white polyester tablecloth provided the stark contrast that truly provides a maritime feel. But my absolute favorite thing about this theme is the abundance of potential DIY.

Such as this menu. Before the shoot I was asked to create something both charming and elegant to emphasize the theme. The response here was overwhelming. And so we’d like to offer it to you. Free of charge, entirely editable, and easily saved to print from anywhere. Plus as an added bonus, the navy blue matches our linens amazingly.

ACTION SHOT

This can be used in several different ways. As a menu, as it is shown, or even invitations, thank-yous, table  charts.. The opportunities are endless. My personal favorite idea is printing these double-sided (saved as two menus) so you can features snacks, or Entree options on the front, and then drinks on the back – but the choice is yours, of course. Each of the middle fields is limited to three lines, but as the example below shows (and it was made as a test for these) the space is fairly ample.

The best part? These are SUPER EASY to customize. You click the link, click on the blue rectangles (if it doesn’t show them, click show highlighted fields on the top right bar just above the image), type in the text, and save! Note: You need adobe reader, but it is free, so go ahead and get it if you don’t already have it.

You should be able to print two of these to a sheet without any trouble, ultimately saving half the printing costs; just visit a copy/print place and ask; one sided with two to a sheet should run about $0.35 per menu. They are formatted to be sized as necessary for 2-up printing, so they won’t have to change the file. Please feel free to download, and be on the lookout for further installments as we build a set of DIY goodies for you to use, with style tips, and other fun ideas.
