There’s something about the holiday season that makes everyone merry. Gathering together with your friends and loved ones, eating delicious food, and hanging those festive decorations. There’s a reason why it’s said to be the most wonderful time of the year. Why celebrate just one time though?! If you’re looking for a reason to party, take your mind off the hot July weather with a Christmas in July party! We’ve created a romantic holiday getaway for two right in our backyard. Replicate it with the steps below.
Most cocktail tables will actually come with two sets of “legs”. There is the longer standard version and a short pole seen used here. Smaller tables create a more intimate setting. Use a larger tablecloth on your small table for some festive elegance. We used a 108 in. Round Satin Tablecloth in Red for our display. Matching the red tablecloth, you’ll find Stretch Chair Sashes in Red around the tops of our gold Chiavari Chairs. The gold of the chairs was matched with 18 in. Shantung Silk Napkins in Beige which give off a gold shimmer in the sunlight.
Unlike in December, snow is hard to find. Lush greenery surrounds our table and really makes the red pop! With so much green and the bright red, we used gold for the accessories to tone down the overall scheme without taking from the festive theme. Pinecones, found almost anywhere outside, surrounding the base of an 11 in. Five Candle Candelabra Gold. Below the candelabra you’ll find a 33 in. Poinsettia Window/Door Decor.
If you’re looking to similarly hang some festive greenery from the edge of your table, we recommend using fabric pins. Pins get attached through the middle of the greenery. After, you’ll just need to stab the pin through the tablecloth straight down. It should hold using only two to three pins depending on the weight.
In conjunction with our gold chairs and the beige napkins, we used pieces from our Flat Handled Silverware Set in Gold. Between the silverware lay three out of four plates from Gold Rimmed Charger Plate Sets in White.
