July 2019 Mood Board

July is here! Sunny skies, warm weather, and poolside fun! We kicked off the month with our newest Mood Board.  Our hunter green and bright turquoise palette reminds us of summers spent outside in sun-drenched fields of green or crystal clear water. Whether your event is inside or out, this table will help turn your venue into a summer wonderland.  Find out how to replicate below.

Our team was lucky enough to shoot this month’s Mood Board in Cathedral Park, located in Portland, OR. Check out our other tablescapes from the Cathedral Park Shoot: our Burgundy Baroque or Ivory and Coral Shantung in the Gallery.  Just click on the word Gallery to take you their now!

To create this table, start out with a Round Polyester Tablecloth in Hunter Green. Since our table is 48 in. in diameter, we used a 108 in. tablecloth for a full drop. Place a 14 x 108 in. Satin Table Runner Turquoise on top for a pop of vibrant color. 17 in. Polyester Napkins in Turquoise were folded into a third of their original size and vertically placed over our plates.  If you’re not worried about seams showing, 17 in. napkins generally work best for this kind of place setting. The shorter napkin has just enough length to tuck under the edges of the charger, but not enough to have to fold under the bottom. This means your charger will stay evenly placed on the table.

Taking center stage we have two silver buckets of differing sizes.  The larger bucket features two (2) sets of 21 in. Mauve Silk Peony Bunches and one (1) of the same bunch in Peach. Inside of the smaller silver bucket is (1) 21 in. Mauve Silk Peonies Bunch.  If you’re using similar size vases or tins, you may have to fold the stem of the bunch in half for the smaller bucket. Silver speckled votives helped provide light in the shadows cast by St. John’s Bridge.

Complete your table with Silver Metallic Brushed Chargers and our Silver 50 Piece Hammered Silverware Set. The glasses and dinner plates can be found at your local department or dollar store if not provided by your venue.
