Normally, New Year’s Eve is a time to gather with friends or family and well, party like the year is ending. Did you know though that New Year’s Eve and Day are the 4th and 5th most popular days for proposals? They’re topped only by Christmas Eve, Christmas, and Valentines Day. If you’re thinking of spending the New Year in a romantic atmosphere, keep reading for a breakdown on our New Year Table for Two.
Small cocktails are great way to add a personal touch. This table stood 30 in. high with a 24 in. in diameter top. Throughout the whole tablescape we kept with the “traditional” New Year colors of gold, silver, and black. A 108 in. Lilies Embossed Satin Tablecloth in Black was used as our base. Due to the height of the table, this tablecloth was actually too big and puddled a bit. We favor this look, but if you want a tablecloth with less fabric, try 90 in. tablecloths.
Simple Satin Sashes Black accompanied the black tablecloth and helped our gold Chiavari chairs stand out. Instead of a standard bow, tie sashes sideways in bows as seen here for a more edgy look that’s just as easy.
Matching the gold Chiavari chairs, were premium 18 in. Shantung Silk Napkins in Beige.
Technically linen as well as an accessory, our White Starlight Backdrop with LEDs is what really helped to add the romantic atmosphere to the table while casting light to see by.
Shining like stars in the ever romantic sky, our LEDs were matched with Crystal Napkin Rings. For a bit of decor on the table, we also added a 3.5 in. Crystal Candle Holder. Silver Mosaic Glass Charger Plates finish off our romantic New Year Table for Two.
