Vintage Valentine’s Day Tablescape Breakdown

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow!  If you’re looking for last minute inspiration, look no further!  Below we have a full breakdown of our Vintage Valentine tablescape. This table combines all of the classic features of Valentine’s Day from traditional colors to the ever present rose.

Linen

Notice the puddling of the tablecloth. The table is a 48 in. round, but our tablecloth is a 120 in. Round Falling Lilies Damask in Red.  Generally a 108 in. tablecloth is used for a full drop. Use a bigger tablecloth for a larger drop and create an elegant puddle. Matching Falling Lilies Damask Napkins in Red 4/pack were folded over the plate.

In addition to the patterned tablecloth, the lace runner helps add a vintage feel to the table while providing further color to the palette.

Accessories

Drawing off of the white runner we have 9 in. White Hanging Vintage Lanterns set around each place setting. A single white favor box, coupled with a red ribbon, was also placed on each plate to incorporate the palette.

24 in. Long Stem Red Roses were actually trimmed down and placed in the apothecary vase together with 11 in. White Silk Roses.  Pop off the heads of roses and you can also use them around the base or settings as shown here. 10 mm White Pearls as well as Heart Shaped Confetti in Gold were used as vase filler.

Serveware

White & Gold Quantum Chargers provide the base of our settings.  Lining either side is our 5-Piece Basic Curved Silverware Set in Gold.  The gold from the flatware set brings out the gold dots found in the chargers as well as the rims on our Vintage Clear Wine Glass with Gold Rim.
